Icebergs Metrowalk and Uno Burger Banchetto

After months of planning on going to Banchetto, Mia and I finally went last Friday. Tin, Larry, and Ade recommended Uno Burger's Forget-me-nut aka peanut butter burger. They said it was so good, you would forget your name. And try we did.

But before all this happened, we arrived in Megatent a couple of hours earlier. I needed to use the restroom so we walked all the way to Metrowalk. When we got there, I asked Mia if she wanted to eat ice cream first since we needed to kill more time and rest our sore feet. We went to Icebergs.

There are two highlights for this week but I'm choosing the impromptu visit at Brgy. LS 97.1 FM radio station as my 4th week entry. To make the long story short, Mia and I were goofing off taking pictures with the cutouts of GMA artists in the lobby when a guy called our attention and invited us to visit the radio booth. Since we were killing time, we decided to drop by and had a chat with the people there. They offered to do a quick interview of Mia and gave her the chance to promote not only the show she's in but also her twitter and facebook profiles. It was a good experience for the both of us.

Netbooster Asia's #kungheipartey

My good friend Mia Lopez and I were invited to Netbooster Asia's Chinese New Year party and quiz night last Thursday. It's the first event I've ever been invited to and I almost didn't go. I'm so glad we went.

The event was held in The Bond Urban pub in Makati and I kept getting lost because almost every street is no left/right/u-turn or one way. My frown was instantly turned upside down when we finally reached the place and met up with the people I made friends with online. First to greet us were Ade and Tin, they both work in Netbooster Asia. We signed in and got our goodie bags.

1. A box of Lipton Yellow Label tea. I've been drinking tea lately and haven't even finished my first box of the same product which I bought October last year. I now drink this tea every day.
2. Havaianas keychain.
3. Garnier Milky Lightening Dew Toner + 2 sachets of moisturizing cream
4. AXE 2012 which smells oh so good.
5. All these items are inside a KLM organizer bag.

A bag of Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm was included but it's in the photo near the end of this post. ;)

I feel like a girl

The other day, after watching Underworld: Awakening, I decided to go on a stroll in the mall. I was not in my intention to buy anything, I just wanted to do some window shopping. When I window shop, I window shop, I don't go inside the store, I just look from the outside. Why? Because once the attendant approaches me and asks me what I need, I would feel obligated to buy something. I know, I can just ignore them and walk away, which I can do sometimes, but most of the time, I end up buying something I like but had no intentions of getting in the first place.

This mall was different. Store attendants are different. No one approached me and asked what I was looking for. I was free to look at items without any of them breathing down my neck. And that's when it happened, I saw a belt around a mannequin wearing a simple dress. The outfit was cute but never in a million years will it fit me. The belt was what caught my attention so I asked the attendant if it was sold with the dress or separately, she answered me with the latter. It also costs just Php75 so I took it right away and paid at the cashier.
